Welp, 2022 has come to a close, and thus another chapter of my life has as well.

THE END OF YEAR REVIEW

Lots of stuff happened this year, I reunited with old friends and met new ones, I decided to put my all into the Newgrounds community and interact with, and make good friends with users.

And suddenly, my music got slightly better. And before the end of the year, I managed to get 400 fans.

To say 2022 was a bust would be a lie. Lots of good stuff happened, but some bad did as well.

I won't get into the bad stuff, has a lot to do with mental health, isolation and loneliness, and I don't want this news post to look like I'm seeking any pity from anyone.

Anyways, 2022 was alright. Now to tell you all what I will be doing for 2023.

PLANS GOING FORWARD

I'm making a little game with @Taka for Pixel Day, it'll be the debut game of my mascot Yume. I'm hoping it'll get her more out there as a character on Newgrounds.

Music wise, I'm taking a break from submitting music on here until my album is complete, so look forward to that when it releases on NG eventually. Look forward to a little surprise submission for Christmas though!

I'm hoping to join more collabs, and do stuff with my pals for NG.

...And I think that about covers my plans for 2023.

Hey all, it's been a while since my last little update regarding my personal life and I thought I'd share some info.

I finally went to a psychiatrist and it's safe to say my anxiety and OCD is now far more under control than it used to be. This feat motivated me to hop back on Discord (yucky I know) and talk to my pals regularly again after... well, 2 years.

My anxiety was THAT crippling for me. I'm so happy that I finally got it taken care of. Sucks that meds have to help it but it's whatever.

Anyways, I've been trying to get in on that music grind lately after several months of not making anything, and surprisingly my music IMPROVED while I was away from it!

This was the most frontpages I EVER got for my stuff, so I can't say it enough, I'm super grateful every time it happens. Makes me happy that my man Tom Fulp or any other admins dig my music. :)

But, yeah. I thought I would let my NG fam know how I was doing. I'm sorry to the BBS regulars for not poasting more often, but my Discord DMs are ALWAYS open for y'all!

Face reveal btw. I feel I'm confident enough to show myself off now lol.

I know, another FNF mod post, but we're actually making progress! @Adelz64 is lending their helping hand on the mod, providing most if not all the sprites, animation, and even some programming help, and I can't be more grateful.

Besides background art (still looking for those who can help in that department!), assets are being made and we plan on implementing a custom UI to the mod, as well as a goofy extra song in the Freeplay menu.

So far things are looking bright for the mod, I'd say it's about 85% finished even, maybe a little more than that.

Anyways, a release date is TBD, but right now it's a "when it's done" kinda thing, this is more of a passion project than a "OMG THIS IS HUGE ITS GOTTA HAVE DEADLINES AND ECT." project that you see from most mods these days.

I just hope some of you funkheads enjoy it when it's all finished and released. :)
